Invoices works as a standard Cocoa document based application, you can work and save as many disk based documents as you like.
A single Invoices document can store thousands and thousands of invoices plus goods and services you sell, customers and notes for a fast invoice creation.
Usually a single document is enough to manage all the needs of a single company.

After pre inserting your customer and goods data, you can create complete invoices with just few clicks, no typing required.

The Invoices main window is based on a multi pane design.
Using Invoices is easy and intuitive
In the main window we have:
The selection pane containing the content selector (left-top)
The filter pane containing various controls, to filter content and see sums and other stats (left-bottom)
The table pane containing the list of the content selected (top-right)
The detail pane containing the details of the selection in the table pane (bottom-right)

This is a 'master and details' interface similar to what you find in a lot of Mac application, as example in Mail by Apple or in our well know Password Repository.

When you understand how the four panes in the main window work you have finished the training period!

Using the 'Invoices' view you can easily create new invoices. After creating a new invoice you can fill it with pre inserted customer data and goods (using clicks only)

Browsing all the invoices inside your document is just as easy as creating a new one. You can filter and display invoices as you like.
Invoices can be filtered and viewed using the year, the period and the name of the invoice customer or selecting to show payed or unpayed invoices.

The 'Customers' view let you add and edit the data of the customers inside your document ready to be used in new invoices. During the editing of an invoice, the input panel will let you select the customer you like and insert it whith a click. No typing required to assign a customer to an invoice and fill all the data

Two different way to insert your goods and services inside your invoices.
Since release 2.0 you can create 'Tabled Items' invoice with goods inserted in a table, row by row or also 'Plain Item' invoice with all goods and services in a single big fields:

  • The 'Tabled Items' let you insert goods and services with:
    - code
    - description and
    - quantity
    - price
    - discount
    - total price
They will be available to be inserted in any invoice with the value you need
  • The 'Plain Items' let you add and edit the text specifying the goods and services described inside the invoice in extended plain text. You can have how many 'Plain items' as you like, ready to be copied inside your new created invoice avoiding typing same text again and again. Still no typing required even to create invoices with a complex text desription of goods and services, not suitable to be inserted in a row by row fashion.

The 'Bottom Notes' let you add and edit the text specifying payment methods and other general notes that are additional information inside the printed invoice you need to be printed inside the invoice.

'Private notes' let you insert text inside the 'Private' section of the invoice. The 'Private section' data doesn't go inside the printed invoice. It is only for internal use of your company to keep track of internal notes.

When you will have input these data for your company you are ready to create new invoices, in a fraction of the time you usually need with other tools, and this time using a last generation Mac software with a great inteface.
